About the event
Join FundRise Initiative for the Paws & Purpose Community Forum on Thursday, September 17, at Lower Providence Community House.
This morning forum gives community members, advocates, organizations, businesses, and state and local leaders an opportunity to take part in a direct conversation about the challenges affecting dog welfare across our community.
Your voice is an important part of that conversation. Attendees will have opportunities to share what they are seeing, raise concerns, ask questions, and contribute ideas about what needs to change. Discussion will include the pressures facing shelters, rescues, animal control systems, and the people working closest to these issues, along with the role advocacy, public policy, and state and local legislation can play in creating better outcomes.
Come to listen, speak up, connect with others, and identify practical ways to help move the conversation and the work forward.
